The Iconic Team are blossoming so well into the new year. We feel it’s important that you have the chance to learn more about us, not only as a business, but as individuals because we like to add a personal touch to everything we do.
This week we sat down with Iconic’s Copywriter, Courtney, and sent a few questions her way.
So, Courtney, what do you think you bring to the Iconic team?
I’d like to think I have a unique way with words, so definitely that. I have quite an active imagination as well, so I love having an outlet for my creativity. Writing for Iconic has really allowed me to do that.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I love to read - books are a huge part of my life and I’m always carrying one around with me (perusing the shelves of Waterstones is my weakness). I also enjoy photography, and I spend a lot of my free time taking pictures of anything and everything. I’m a fan of musicals too so it’s highly likely you’ll find me singing along to something while I’m writing.
How long have you been writing?
Going to university really sparked my interest in writing creatively. That was about eight years ago, and since then I just haven’t stopped. I write every single day, be it a post for my own personal blog, something for Iconic, or something completely different. I’m always either typing or scribbling away somewhere.
What does Iconic mean to you?
To be iconic you have to be bold, brave and unapologetically you.
Finally, someone or something you think is iconic?
I’ll go for a literary icon – Elizabeth Bennett.
